From
confusion to understanding. From corruption to perfection. From the ESV
to the King James Bible. I used the corrupt English Standard Version.
The Calvinist compiled
bible, to fit their own beliefs. When God saved me at 17 years old it
was the bible "everyone" was using or so I thought. It wasn't until the
age of 21 that someone brought to
my attention the "Bible version issue". Before that I was like 99.99%
of Christians, I had no clue there was even an issue. Was I ever
wrong!!! I had
believed just as all the rest that every bible had a bunch of shadowing
of what the 'originals' said. I believed there was error in the bible
I, or anyone was using. That
statement is true, unless you are using the King James Version of the
Bible. I had to come to a realization, that indeed the creator of the
universe, a PERFECT God, has the power and authority to preserve His
word as He promised He would do! I came, very quickly, to realize
that the modern bibles would
change, corrupt or even remove very crucial and very important passages
of scripture. THATS JUST THE AWFUL TRUTH!!! Don't believe me? What was
the first thing the devil did to deceive
Eve? He tampered with Gods word. This has been going on now for
thousands of years! But although God has allowed the god of this world
(II Corinthians 4:4)
to do as he pleases to confuse and blind as many people as possible...
God also has preserved His words just as He promised. For that I am
thankful! The King James Bible
has changed my life... That is what the power of the word of God will
do in anyone's life! I have seen it work in my life and the life of
others... I have seen
lame Christians (as I once was) be transformed into men and woman of
God by realizing and believing the PERFECTION and the FINAL AUTHORITY of the King James
Bible!

How the Authorized Version Bible (KJV) CHANGED my life!
By John E. Davis (Time for Truth!)
I
was saved on May 4th 1989. The week I got saved I was handed a Good
News ‘bible’ by the youth pastor of a Pentecostal church. I read it
from cover to cover that first year. Cutting a long story short, I was
asked to read in another church & did as I was told (!) After the
service, a man not many people liked, gave me a leaflet &
told me that I wasn’t reading from the word of God! Because I thought
he was a bit of a trouble maker, I placed his leaflet in my bedside
drawer when I got home & it stayed there for six months. Then one
night I couldn’t sleep & so I started to clear out my drawer when I
came across that leaflet. I lay back down & started reading. I
looked up Acts 8v37 as it told me to; it wasn’t there! I was saved by
the Blood of Christ but found out that my ‘bible’ had REMOVED the Blood
of Christ in Col 1v14. I CANNOT tell you how shocked, upset & angry
I was! What on earth had I been reading for the last year! I now REALLY
couldn’t sleep & started comparing verse after verse. The very next
day I sought out an old man who had some wisdom & had been a pastor
for years. I ‘invited’ myself around to his house & brought with me
a long list of questions! I kept him up very late! My first question to
him was “What Bible do you read & why?” He told me the Authorized
Version & said because it was the most accurate. I had always
thought to myself that God had written this Book & it was PERFECT
because God Who wrote it was perfect & surely He would give me a
perfect Book! This started me on a long & deep journey into the
different versions & translations. I wrote to people all around the
world asking them questions. I bought loads of books on the subject as
I wanted answers to these questions… “Did God write a Book? If He did,
is it PERFECT & do we have it today?” After careful study &
seeking the Lord with ALL my heart (He knew how sincere I was about
this issue, as I couldn’t rest until I KNEW!), I finally found out the
answers… YES God wrote a Book! Yes He promised to preserve it for me
today (Ps 12v6+7) & THE BOOK (The ONLY Book) that is PERFECT
without ‘error’ today, is the Authorized Version Bible. It is 100%
PERFECT & you can trust it with your life! I don’t care if the
greatest scholars & Bible ‘critics’ in the world say that there are
mistakes in it, they are 100% WRONG & have been deceived by Satan
himself, they just don’t know it. The Authorized Version Bible is MY
Final Authority on all matters of faith & practice…it is PERFECT!
If you ever tell me otherwise prepare yourself for one of my ‘special’
letters!!! I get emails & letters from Bible ‘correctors’ attacking
that Book every month; not one of them stays the course! God showed me
that THAT BOOK is HIS Book & it is without ‘error’; not one Bible
‘corrector or rejector’ on planet earth has ever said that GOD showed
them an ‘error’ in the Authorized Version Bible. (YOU know why don’t
you!!!) We have dedicated a lot of space on our website (www.timefortruth.co.uk)
in defence of the AV Bible, so I won’t go on further here! AFTER
finding out that THE BOOK was God’s preserved word, I was also
introduced to another AV ‘perfectionist’, Dr Peter Ruckman – I found
out that he too believed THE BOOK to be PERFECT! Since then I have
heard from hundreds & hundreds of AV Bible Believers all around the
world who also believe THE BOOK to be PERFECT! Now I am called a
Ruckmanite by some, which makes me smile! Surely Ruckman should be
called a DavisITE!!! Incidentally, I think Ruckman is the best Bible
teacher I have ever come across. So to finish with… The Authorized
Version Bible IS God’s word! YOU & I should read it, believe it,
rightly divide it (2 Tim 2v15) & LIVE it! We should then preach,
teach & sow it everywhere, & await the Rapture! When anyone (no
matter how ‘good’ or ‘godly’ they are), ‘corrects’ THAT BOOK…DUMP
THEM!!!

The most important event in my life took place on July 19th, 1967, when I received the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
The most important event for me since then as a child of God has been
to come to know the Holy Bible, known as the Authorised King James
Version, AV1611, as the perfect word of God and the FINAL AUTHORITY in
ALL matters of faith and practice.
To believe that the AV1611 as the FINAL AUTHORITY is also to believe
that it is superior not only to the modern ‘bibles’ but also to ALL
Greek and Hebrew texts and manuscripts and to the so-called, non
existent ‘verbal, plenary, inspired, original autographs’.
These do not correct the Holy Bible. The Holy Bible corrects both
THEM and all of the scholars who use them to alter the pure words of
Holy Scripture “given by inspiration of God” 2 Timothy 3:16.
After I was saved, I spent 17 years as a member of the Bible denying
group that Dr. Peter S. Ruckman of Pensacola Bible Institute rightly
calls “the Alexandrian Cult”. I am particularly indebted to Dr.
Ruckman’s ministry via his books and tapes for my deliverance from this
cult and for belief in the AV1611 as the perfect Bible. This
belief has of course been greatly encouraged by the works of Dean
Burgon, Dr. Hills, Dr. Otis Fuller, J.J. Ray, Dr. Gipp, Dr. Mrs. Gail
Riplinger, Dr. Grady and others whose books are listed in the
Bibliography and References of this work.
Some years ago, I was engaged in correspondence with the Protestant
Truth Society over the issue of the Bible. In a letter to that
organisation, dated 5th August 1986, I stated the following:
“The view that I express is that of a BIBLE BELIEVER who takes the AV
BIBLE in ANY edition as inerrant with respect to its words,
punctuation, order of Books and chapter and verse divisions. It
is Holy Scripture given by inspiration of GOD, 2 Timothy 3:16 and is
THE FINAL AUTHORITY in ALL matters of FAITH and PRACTICE and is
SUPERIOR to ANY set of ‘originals’, ANY set of manuscripts in either
Hebrew or Greek, ANY English Bible published before or since 1611 and
ANY Hebrew or Greek Testament, including the “Textus Receptus”.”
My stance for the AV1611 is now as it was then, except that today I
would add inerrancy with respect to paragraph divisions. I hope
that by reading this book, others will be encouraged to maintain the
same stance.
“Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having
on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the
preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of
faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the
wicked, And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit,
which is the word of God” Ephesians 6:14-17.

I'm 24 and was raised my whole life in a Christian family
with great parents. I'v always used an NIV. I knew there was other bible
versions out there, but never thought twice as to why. When I graduated high
school back in 2006, I got a full time job as a house painter with a buddy of
mine. What felt like every day for two years he'd question me about why there's
missing verses in my bible and why my bible attacks the deity of Christ. I of
course couldn't give him any good answers. The best I could do was "The
KJV is to hard to understand." Or "We don't use those 'Old archaic'
words anymore". Or "The Gospel message is still there and that's all
that matters." One day while working, he asked me "So you don't think
God could perfectly preserve his Word without flaws?" I dumbly answered
"Yup!" As soon as I said it though I felt a ping of guilt in the back
of my mind. Almost like I told a lie or something. So from then on I read and
watched everything I could get my hands on on the topic. I've now been proudly
using the PERFECT HOLY KING JAMES BIBLE since 2008!

I want to take this opportunity to share my King James Bible testimony with you.
Friday April 2, 1989 will forever be the greatest day of my life when I
became a loyal, Bible-believing follower and disciple of the Lord Jesus
Christ. I was 14-years-old attending a weekend youth retreat in
Peterborough, Ontario when I met the Son of God, and the course of my
life was changed forever. Not only that, my love & passion for
God's Word began when I was given a free NIV Bible. I was really
thrilled and excited to read a Bible that I could understand, and so I
started reading it, and couldn't put it down as I wanted to know more
about God. For eleven years, I read the NIV Bible because I believed it
was far easier to understand. I didn't like the King James Bible
because of all the "thees" and "thous", and I believed it was hard to
understand. My mother did tell me on a few occasions that the NIV is no
good, and the KJV is the best. Unfortunately, I was very stubborn that
I didn't listen to her.
It wasn't until sometime in 2000 that I was on a Christian website, and
I saw the Bible version section that really got my attention. Because
of my curiosity, I checked it out as I wanted to know the truth
concerning the Bible versions. I was absolutely stunned and shocked
when I read how the NIV, and other modern versions, (I should really
say perversions) totally omits words and passages, and changed God's
Word. The thing that really clinched it for me was the fact that only
the King James Version glorifies the Deity of Jesus Christ while the
other translations don't. And being a theology junkie, I really hated
that. So, the decision was easy for me to throw the NIV Study Bible
into the garbage, and started reading the King James Bible that I had,
but rarely read.
I want to give God all the praise and glory for his grace that enabled
me to discover the truth about the King James Bible, and other modern
versions. He has led me to some wonderful resources such as Samuel
Gipp's excellent book entitled An Understandable History of the Bible
where he explained the localities of the King James Version (Antioch),
and the modern versions (Alexandria). I was absolutely amazed when I
understood that the English in the King James Bible was the English
language at the height of its purity, and how it is so beautiful. It's
totally logical that since God himself wrote his book, he has the power
to preserve it. Since God is perfect, he had to a write a perfect book.
So, through Samuel Gipp, and Gail Riplinger, I see that the King James
Bible is a fulfillment of Psalm 12:6-7, "The words of the Lord are pure
words: as silver tried in the furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this
generation for ever." Today, I love reading my King James Bible, and
the more I read it, the more I love it. I hate the modern versions with
a passion because they tamper with God's Word. I am KJV-only, and I
make no apologies because I know beyond any shadow of a doubt the King
James Bible is truly the perfect and preserved Word of God in the
English language. I thank Thee, O Lord, for Thy holy book, the King
James Bible. "Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it"
(Psalm 119:140).

I
am Lordson Roch. I Pastor the Grace and Truth Baptist Church in Goa
India. I was born & brought up in a Roman Catholic family in a
below poverty line but a staunch & religious family. Right from my
childhood days I wanted to be a Roman Catholic priest. Due to poverty
at home my parents couldn’t afford to educate me & send me to
school. I was taught A-Z & 1-100 at home & then I was put in
the orphanage run by the Franciscan Order & there I was given free
education & I completed my high school.
Mean while in the orphanage, the superior watched me closely & was
encouraging me to join the seminary & to join their orders! Three
times I received calling letters from three seminaries from three
different states in India. Some situations & circumstances stopped
me from joining. When I was 12 years old my daddy passed away which was
a big blow to me & my family. After high school the orphanage sent
all the students home.
I started working at a very minor age & left education &
instead enjoyed the fashions and courses of this world. Then a year
later I dreamed of becoming a lawyer & joined the government higher
secondary school. It was here in my 12th standard before my board exams
one man came to my home with the Gospel & was sharing it to my
family members. I heard as he read John 14v6. This verse came alive to
me that day. I felt the smell of my sins & I cried like a baby
& cried to The Lord to forgive me & asked the Lord Jesus to
come into my heart & save me & be the Lord of my life- that was
on the 21st Jan 2000.
I became active in the church & started to witness to people about
the Lord Jesus Christ & in the process; the Lord put a burden in my
heart to work among my people. I never wanted to be a pastor & I
tried to run away from the calling. One day I came home from an
interview & took my Bible & God spoke to me through the
scripture as I read Eph 4v1 & then Rom 8v28-30... I knew now what
God was telling me!
I joined the Bible College & completed my Bth & BD. In the
college the Lord met my needs & I graduated. I learnt God's word at
the same time & I started preaching during holidays & I led few
people to the Lord. But it was only after my graduation that I believed
the AV
1611. In the college they are always correcting the AV Bible but God
was good to me & sent few people in my life where I studied and
believed the infallible word of God THE AUTHORIZED VERSION BIBLE!
Despite attending a Bible College that attacks the words of the living
God, the Lord opens mine eyes to come to know the preserved, pure,
perfect, inerrant and inspired words of God in the King James Bible for
the English speaking world.Preaching from the KJV is a great blessing
and there is power in it. Ecclesiastes 8:4
Where the word of a king is, there is power: When I read my KJV God
speaks to me and when I pray I speak to the God the KING!
In the year 2006 when I came back to my state from the Bible College, I
came trusting the Lord that He will lead me & I would follow. As I
went around for two months sharing the Gospel nobody got saved &
was discouraged only to see one day one Hindu boy came to me & said
" I want to know more about Christ!" I shared the Gospel & the Lord
saved him there & then. Regular Bible study began with this young
brother & then three more joined us.
On May 6th 2007 we gathered in my home: altogether five people for
Sunday worship service. Slowly the Lord saved a few more & by the
end of the year we were 20 in number.
The Devil also was busy working to split us & he did use some
people & some people did leave. But the Lord blessed us again &
now we are up to 30 people attending the English service and 25 in the
Hindi service. & the Wednesday Bible study & Friday prayer
meeting. I also give free
tuition to 38 children in the slum every day & Sunday I teach them
Bible stories & songs hoping to see some children coming to Christ
soon. They are all from Hindu and Muslim families.
Tracts distribution is done widely & we have seen some trusting
Christ and a few have come to our church. The Lord has also allowed me
to preach in other states of India in the youth meetings and revival
meetings and has seen great fruits in this work too.
There are ups and downs in the work but the Lord is faithful to me.
There are a lot of adversaries but I enjoy it because it is a part
& a blessing of the Christian life. Difficulties keep me on my
knees and keep me humble and totally dependent upon the Lord. I stay
with my mom & my elder brother’s family & we have all our
church services in my mom's living room. God has been good to us
always. I appreciate your prayers for me and The ministry!!
''A ministry that is committed to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ, to magnify the Word of
God AV 1611, edify the saints and evangelize the sinners.''

Greetings to all in
the precious and wonderful name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I have
not always been a Christian nor have I always been a King James Bible onlyist. I was brought up in a
nominally Christian home but my parents rarely if ever went to church. I was an
agnostic/atheist until my early 20’s when the Hippy Movement broke out in the
late 1960’s. I, along with many others of my generation, Turned On, Tuned In
and Dropped Out. Through the use of psychedelic drugs I began to investigate
and practice Eastern Religions for several years and lived in a hippy commune. I began to piece
together my own brand of eclectic Religion and thought that I was quite
“spiritual”, but I was a lost sinner on my way to judgment and hell. Someone
compared me to a duck on the water. I looked calm on the surface, but
underneath my legs were churning as fast as they could go. I did not have my
act together and underneath I knew that I was a mess and had no clue about the
Truth of God. While hitching around
the country I came to a “Jesus house” of young, ex-hippie converts to
Christianity. They saw me doing my Yoga and swinging a pendulum over my food to
“check out the cosmic vibes”. One brother pulled me
aside and opened his Bible. Much of what he said was lost on me, but one verse
he read hit me in the forehead like a brick. The passage he read from, before
he asked me to leave, was found in 2 Timothy 3:1-7. “This know also, that in the
last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own
selves...Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof...EVER
LEARNING, AND NEVER ABLE TO COME TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH.” God began to work on
me more directly after that and through reading more of the New Testament I
eventually realized that I either had to reject the claims of the Lord Jesus
and continue to piece together my own form of religion, or else reject all
other forms of spirituality and believe that Christ alone was the only way of
salvation and the only Truth. By the sovereign
grace and mercy of God He gave me the faith and repentance to believe that
Jesus Christ is indeed exactly who He said He was - The Way, the Truth and the
Life, and that no man can come to the Father except through Him. For many years I was
not a King James Bible onlyist. It wasn’t till all the newer versions like the
NASB and NIV began to be popularly accepted and used that I began to study the
issues more in depth. Did the Bible mean what it says about the purity and
truth of God’s word? Was “the Bible” indeed the perfect and 100% true words of
God, or not? I began to read
several books on the Bible version issue and studied and prayed a lot about it.
Over time God began to open my eyes to see that either the King James Bible was
the true words of God and all other versions were but poor imitations, or else
God did not really mean what He says in the Bible about “Thy word is truth” and
“the Scripture cannot be broken”. (John 17:17; 10:35) Through years of
Bible study and discussing this most vital issue with many other Christians, my
conviction regarding the absolute truth and authority of the Authorized King
James Bible has only strengthened. It is my hope that
God may use some of these Bible studies to open the eyes and confirm the faith
of those who can say like David - “I esteem all thy precepts concerning all
things to be right; and I hate every false way.” Through the grace and
mercy of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ, Accepted in the Beloved,
Will Kinney
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Up until about a year or so ago I had never even considered
the fact that bible translations even mattered. Simply that God being God
allowed them to speak to individuals in ways that they personally understood
better. In fact I hated the King James bible because it was filled with all
those "thees" and "thous" and "eths". I thought,
"no one talks like that anymore, give me something modern." But slowly I realized I didn't quite
understand how there could be so many different versions, versions that didn't
even match up, and some that said things completely different. My old churches used to switch back and forth
between versions mid sermon and literally say "I prefer the way this
version says it." How on earth is that okay? The bible (in any version)
speaks very clearly about how adding and taking from the Word of God isn't
something He thinks to kindly about. A
friend of mine made a statement that really got me thinking. "If we believe God is perfect then why
can't His word be perfect?" That really hit home for me. The bible says that the word is purified
seven times and that its perfect. Christ
is called the Word! Christ is PERFECT! So therefore His Word, the King James
Bible is perfect! I sat down with a
couple dear friends to discuss this topic amid my reservations. I went into it being very skeptical and very
doubtful that I could be convinced otherwise. So I prayed and asked God to help
me to have an open heart and spirit and that if what was brought to me was
truth that I would KNOW it! I walked out of that meeting an hour or so later
the happiest I've ever been as a christian! I was filled with immense joy and
love and my life has been changed ever since! I've learned and grown in my
faith so much ever since I started reading nothing but the King James Bible and
I now prefer the old English language. The King James Bible IS the only perfect
bible in the English language! I believe this as much as I believe in Christ
and His sacrifice! It is a hindrance to your faith not to be reading the true Word
of God! Pray about it and ask Him to reveal this truth to you! You will never
regret it!

I love having a Bible that I know I can trust every word in
it to be accurate. I love memorizing verses and when I hear someone preaching
or quoting a verse or passages from the KJB, it strengthens my memory of those
words. As a child I grew up going to church using and hearing the KJB preached
from. I think that helped me hide the word in my heart.I do not like all the
different versions. When I hear a verse quoted from one of them it messes up my
memory of how I know it. I wish everyone would use the KJB; it would be a great
testimony to the world and also help us all in memorizing God's word. When I
first heard of people who only used a KJB I thought they were legalistic. Until
I looked into it myself and started seeing all the differences. Also how the KJB
is so consistent using words and being able to define a word by using the Bible
itself.
